Wednesday 2nd September - bike **** – Landguard Nature Reserve – cloudy with showers.

With Rob once again working from home Mag and I have a rare trip out on our bikes with Arlo after topping up on pancakes. Leaving home around ten, a cloudy day threatening rain as we head down to Felixstowe prom and head to The Manor and continuing onto Landguard Nature Reserve where Arlo finds a few bumps to go over on his new bike! We stop at the dock view point and watch a huge container ship being unloaded before stopping off at the old pier for a cuppa and snack and were lucky enough to see The Sir David Attenburgh (better known as Boaty Mc Boat Face) before heading for home as a shower arrives!
Dan then brings Maeva and Jay round late in the afternoon where they both have brilliant matching blue Pokemon basketball outfits and look a knockout! We then have a lovely family meal together before we all go to bed shattered!
